Hi, I’m Selena.

Multidisciplinary digital designer. UX at heart.

I trained in UX and love working across brands, websites, and app experiences. I know accessibility matters, so I make sure my builds follow the guidelines. And I love building what I design: learning to code has meant I can take an idea all the way to a working website.

I enjoy connecting different disciplines, learning new skills, and making thoughtful work with other people. Working at a small agency, I’ve also written proposals, scoped projects, and talked with clients directly, so I’m comfortable on that side of the work too.

It started with a magazine.

I founded ARTIFACT at New College Franklin and led the student arts magazine, in print and online, for four years, with a changing team that grew to 12 people. It introduced me to design and still shapes my love of editorial layouts.

My time as a cake decorator is part of that story, too. I’ve always loved making things, whether that means arranging a page or finishing a cake.
